Liverpool-born Edward "Ned" Corvan (c.1827-1865) was the first North-East professional singer/songwriter.

 

A play with music. The funny, tragic, but inspirational times of Ned set to 20 of his brilliant songs.

Mr Corvan's Music Hall began its 2017 tour at Durham's Gala Theatre before travelling around North East venues, small and large, and finishing with a standing ovation at The Sage Gateshead (today, The Glasshouse).​
